48P7038: DDS4 DAT drive, LVD-SE, 20/40GB, Internal (IBM 48P7038) ________________________________________________________ Seagate/IBM's award-winning 20/40GB DDS internal tape drive is the ideal backup product for high-performance workstations or low-end to midrange server environments. Based on the industry-standard DDS (DAT) format, it features up to 40-Gbytes compressed capacity per cartridge and backup speeds of up to 330 Mbytes per minute. The Seagate/IBM 20/40 DDS is the most reliable DDS drive with an MTBF rating of 483,000 hours at 12% duty cycle. The The Seagate/IBM 20/40 stores up to 40GB (2:1 compression) of data per cartridge. With its Ultra2 SCSI LVD interface, the Seagate/IBM 20/40 tranfers data at speeds up to 5.5 MB per second or 19.8 GB per hour greatly decreasing the time needed to back up your data.
